Many people, including Republican Congressmen, no longer support Bush in Iraq. His escalation plan is exactly the opposite of what should be done. Our troops should be beginning to pull out now. Bush won’t pay any attention to anyone that doesn’t say what he wants them to. In the beginning, he listened to no one, and he hasn’t changed. I read he said he would stay there if the only support he had was Laura and Barney. The war has not been operated correctly. I keep hearing the question, are we losing the war in Iraq? What we are losing is the worldwide respect we had pre-Bush, and many of our troops’ lives who are being sent into a civil war. If we have won the war, then everyone will request a pullout. If we pull out, we can’t be the occupier and no longer can keep an eye on the oil, the real reason we are there.

The vacuum effect they say will happen if we leave, happened some time ago. Everyone that hates Americans is either in Iraq or on their way there. They are taught if they can kill Americans and happen to die in the process, they have earned their ticket to be with their God. The only way to win against these people is to put the troops on planes and bring them home. Please don’t say fight them there or fight them here. The only reason terrorists have not struck on our soil again recently is they have not wanted to.

Martin Luther King said “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” If this matters to you, then please contact our government officials and tell them its time to put a stop to the deaths of our courageous troops. In the name of God and our great country, please stand and be heard.
