Karriker 60th Anniversary

Ray Preston Karriker and Shelby Karriker of China Grove celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 27, 2016.
The Karrikers were united in marriage Oct. 27, 1956, at Concordia Lutheran Church by Rev. Paul L. Conrad. Ray, now retired, was a self-employed farmer. Shelby retired as owner/operator of Shelby’s Christian Daycare after 35 years.
The couple have five children, Kim K. Crook (James) of Holly Springs, Anna K. Bradshaw (Perry) of China Grove, Melanie K. Deal (Alan) of Landis, Pratt Karriker (Shasta) of China Grove, and Miriam K. Lowery (Michael) of China Grove. They also have eight grandchildren.
