Margaret Wilson Overcash, 87, 7945 Freeze Road, died Jan. 23, 2007, at Avante Nursing Center, Concord, after five years of declining health.

Born Feb. 4, 1919, in Iredell County, Mrs. Overcash was a daughter of the late Milas Leroy and Dora Bell Morrow Wilson.

A lifetime resident of the area, she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting.

She was a member of St. Enoch Lutheran Church.

Her husband, Carnie Mitchel Overcash, died Aug. 10, 2003.

Survivors include son Charlie Mitchel Overcash, Kannapolis; daughter Martha Overcash Foster, Kannapolis; sister Evelyn Hastings, South Carolina; brothers Leonard Wilson, Salisbury, and Leroy Wilson, Mooresville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A service was held Thursday (Jan. 25, 2007) at St. Enoch Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. John Mark Beam. Burial, church cemetery.
