CHINA GROVE — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in south Rowan.

The annual South Rowan Christmas Parade is set for Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Landis and 4 p.m. in China Grove. Dale and Gayle Keiger will be the parade grand marshals. Dale Keiger owns Dale’s Sporting Goods in China Grove.

In Landis, the parade starts at the intersection of West 1st Street and Main Street. It continues along Main Street until reaching Laurel Street. Main Street in Landis will close to traffic at 2:30 p.m., town officials said.

In China Grove, the parade starts at the intersection of Kirk Street and Main Street. The parade stops at the intersection of Ross Street and Main Street. A portion of Main Street in China Grove will close to traffic at 3 p.m., town officials said.

The parade includes the usual assortment of groups from across Rowan, including: South Rowan High School students, Carson High School students, church groups, local businesses, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth sports teams, veterans groups and first responders.
