Today should be a good one for shopping. We’ll have plenty of sunshine and it will be very warm, with a high of 71 and southwest wind around 6 mph.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Calm wind will become north at 5-7 mph in the evening.
Saturday will be sunny, too, but noticeably cooler, with a high of 59. North wind will blow at 7-10 mph. Saturday night will be clear and cold, with a low of 28. North wind around 6 mph will calm throughout the night.
Sunday will also be sunny, with a high of 58 and light wind. The low will be 34.
Monday will be partly sunny, with a high of 61.
Then, keep you fingers crossed, we have a 30 percent chance of rain early Tuesday morning. The low will be 45.
Tuesday has a 50 percent chance of rain, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 66. The same chance of rain continues Tuesday night, with rain before 8 p.m. and showers after 8. The low will be 56.
Showers are likely Wednesday, too, with a 60 percent chance. The high will be 68, under mostly cloudy skies.
Wednesday night brings a 50 percent chance of showers, with a low of 47.
The area is in a moderate drought, so this rain is much needed. Rain in the mountains would also help with the wildfires.
