Story: Felt called to ministry since about the age of 13. Active member of the youth group at St. Peter Lutheran Church. In college, participated in various internships: Triune Mercy Center – a homeless shelter; Frazee Center – an afterschool program for under-resourced children; and Lutheran Hospice. I also participated in the Exploration of Vocation and Ministry Program at Furman. I also spent a summer (2011) as a camp counselor at Luthe Ridge.
Entered seminary in the fall of 2012.
I had a 13-month internship at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Evans, GA.
I graduated from seminary in May of 2016 and was approved for ordination in June. In June I also began conversing with Faith Lutheran Church and soon entered the call process with them. There was such a sense of peace in talking with them about their vision for the church and where they felt God was leading them. On October 2, they voted to call me as pastor. On November 12, I was ordained at my home congregation of St. Peter Lutheran and then had my first official Sunday as pastor the very next day, Sunday November 13.
On December 4, at 4:00 PM, I will be officially installed as pastor of Faith Lutheran Church.
