President Obama      led with a lot of grace

President Obama is not yet gone, but I all ready miss his class, dignity and humor. We in the United States and the world have had the fortunate opportunity to witness this for nearly eight years.

If the pre-election and early start of the new presidency is any indication, the grace that generally has been carried forward for decades will be a thing of the past.

We can only hope that children and adults alike will be able to remember what grace and class are all about for the leader of the free world.

Funny favorites return

While there are certainly more important things than comics, I have to agree with Mr. Hoffman. The Post has raised our rates and now it’s cutting out the “expensive” comics. Why not cut out all the others and bring the good ones back?

Dennis the Menace, Family Circus and Blondie were three of the six  that I ever look at anyway.

It’s nice to have a little chuckle to start your day. The others are not amusing. No wonder they’re cheap!

Lost dog back home

Big thanks to the staff at West Innes Animal Hospital today! They spent at least 30 minutes helping me find the owner of a lost dog. Checked for a chip, tracked the previous owner, called the vet’s office for the rabies tag info, all so we could get the lost guy back home. Thank you, ladies! If you have a pet, get them chipped and registered, but if the pet goes to another home, please update that info immediately so your pet can be helped in the future.
