Business relocations
Three businesses are in or will soon be in new locations downtown.
The Lettered Lily
The Lettered Lily Design Studio is a business specializing in one-of-a-kind invitations and announcements, business branding and marketing material and specialty printing techniques. The business also offers gifts, paper products and stationery.
Formerly at 109 W. Fisher, The Lettered Lily is now at 113 W. Fisher St.
Taylor Sexton, co-owner of the store with Megan Ferden, said the expanded space has been newly renovated. The new location offers a new consultation mezzanine for customers and the upper floor provides space for production and offices.
The Lettered Lily will still keep the same hours, including extended hours on Fridays throughout December for the holiday season, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The Kitchen Store
The Kitchen Store, currently at 121 W. Innes St., will be moving to a new location at the beginning of the new year.
Dennis Lunsford, owner, said the store’s last day at its current location will be Dec. 31.
Lunsford said the new location is a bit bigger, but the main reason for the move is to hopefully gain more foot traffic.
He said since he was one of the last shops on West Innes Street, it was difficult to draw customers. On North Main Street, Lunsford hopes to benefit from the foot traffic surrounding businesses.
The property owner of the new space is adding new lighting, paint and fixing up the exterior of the space, Lunsford said.
Since the space will be bigger, Lunsford also said he expects to expand his inventory a little more.
The shop will keep its same hours.

Leonard-Hampton previously worked at Wallace Realty and she said it was the right time and opportunity to expand her business and start her own firm.
