Western Union Co. has extended its agreement with Delhaize to offer services at 1,120 grocery stores.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Delhaize, which operates supermarkets in 16 states under the names Food Lion, Bloom, Bottom Dollar Food, Harveys and others, began offering Western Union services in 1993 at Food Lion stores. Services include sending cash, making money transfers, buying money orders and sending utility-bill payments.
