Gheorghe and Kathy Teodorovici of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ann Teodorovici, to Stefen Charles Petry of Charlotte.

Lauren is the granddaughter of Ann Weatherford and John Rink of Salisbury and Simion and Maria Teodorovici of Sacramento, Calif. A 2009 graduate of North Rowan High School, Lauren graduated from Catawba College in 2013. She is an athletic trainer at Pinnacle Orthopedics in Statesville.

Stefen is the son of Thomas Petry of Charlotte and Sarah Nesmith of Cochran, Ga. and the grandson of Thomas and Noreen Petry of Charlotte, Charles and Dianne Cochran and Linda Auerhamer, all of Batesburg, S.C. A 2008 graduate of Bleckley County High School, Stefen graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2013. He is a doctor of physical therapy student at Tennessee State University. He will graduate in May 2017.

The couple got engaged on Dec. 25, 2016 surrounded by family. The wedding is Oct. 7, 2017 at Coburn United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
