Rowan weather: First day of spring, wacky weather and all

We were under another freeze warning last night, and it extends to 9 a.m. We’ll have a couple of warmer days, now that spring has officially arrived, then we’re back to lows in the low 30s.
Today will be sunny and 64, with southwest wind around 6 mph this afternoon. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 48. South southwest wind will be around 3-6 mph.
Today and Tuesday, we will have code yellow air quality, meaning unusually sensitive people, including those with allergies, asthma or heart and lung conditions, will notice a difference. Both ozone and particle pollution will be higher.
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is possible Tuesday, mainly after 5 p.m. It will be partly sunny and very warm, with a high of 76. West winds will blow at 5-8 mph in the morning. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, except higher in thunderstorms.
Tuesday night’s chance of precipitation is 70 percent, with showers and thunderstorm before 11, showers with a few thunderstorms between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., then just showers after that. It will be cloudy, with a low of 49 and north northwest wind at 3-6 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Wednesday has a 40 percent chance of showers, mostly before 2 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and cooler with a high of 61 and north wind at 8-11 mph. Wednesday night’s low will be below freezing again, 31. It’s likely another freeze warning will be issued.
Thursday should be mostly sunny and 53. with a low that night around 33. A frost or freeze is possible, too.
Friday will be partly sunny and 57, with a low around 45.
Clouds return Saturday, with a high near 70. A 50 percent chance of showers comes in Saturday night, with a low of 52.
Sunday, the chance of precipitation is 60 percent, and the high will e around 65.
