Rowan weather: Sun will return; wind advisory in effect

After a stormy night, today we’ll be facing high winds. A wind advisory is in effect from 8 this morning to 8 p.m. Friday. That means winds will gust above 35 mph at times as the front that brought all the rain clears out.
Today will turn partly sunny and we’ll have a high of 61. West southwest winds will blow around 21 mph, with gusts around 32 mph or higher.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and 39, with west winds at 14 mph and gusts around 23 mph.
Friday will be mostly sunny and cooler, with a high of 56. West northwest wind will be sustained at 14-18 mph, with gusts of 28 mph or higher.
Friday night will be clear and cold, with a low of 34, meaning frost is possible in outlying areas. West northwest wind will calm to 5-10 mph.
Then things will begin to warm up and there’s no mention of rain or high winds.
Saturday will be sunny and 65, with northwest wind at 6-9 mph. Saturday night will be clear and cold again, with a low of 36.
Sunday will be sunny and 73, with a low of 47.
Monday will be sunny and 78, with a low of 52.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 79, with a low of 54.
And Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 78.
