Please join Waterworks Visual Arts Center, in partnership with the Rowan-Salisbury Schools, for a celebration of creativity by Rowan County’s public high school students and teachers. The exhibition features more than 120 two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art by students from North Rowan, East Rowan, South Rowan, West Rowan, Salisbury and JC Carson high schools.

The artwork is on display now through Saturday, May 27, during regular gallery hours, in the second floor outreach galleries at Waterworks.

Families, friends and the public are invited to a free reception honoring these young artists on Thursday, May 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. 

Also in partnership with the Rowan-Salisbury Schools, Waterworks Visual Arts Center curated the first student exhibition, now on view at the Wallace Educational Forum, just two blocks from Waterworks, at 500 N. Main St.

Twenty-four of the nearly 300 elementary students’ works recently featured in the elementary student exhibition at Waterworks are on display in this inaugural show. The exhibition is on view through June 2017, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

WVAC, 123 E. Liberty St. in the East Square Cultural District of historic downtown Salisbury. Parking and admission to the Waterworks is free.
