Rowan weather: Chance of rain increases

The next two days look gray and damp as a front passes through.
We have a 60 percent chance of showers before 2 p.m., then a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Patchy fog may form between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. It will be cloudy and 68, with east northeast wind at 8 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Tonight, the chance of rain goes up to 80 percent, with showers and thunderstorms. More fog could form after 11 p.m. The low will be 57, with north northeast wind at 3-7 mph. A half to three-quarters inch of rain is possible.
And Saturday will be mostly cloudy, too, with a 50 percent chance of showers and a high of 70. Expect patchy fog before 9 a.m. North wind will blow at 3-7 mph. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Saturday night will become foggy, with a low of 51 and northwest wind at 3-5 mph.
Early morning Sunday may bring fog, but it will become sunny, with a high of 78. More northwest wind at 5-9 mph. The low will be 56, with fog forming around 4 a.m.
The fog hangs around until around 8 a.m. Monday. The sun will come out, and we’ll have a high of 81. The low will be 58 with mostly clear skies.
Tuesday will be sunny and 83, with a low of 62.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny and warmer, around 86. The low will be 65.
And Thursday will be mostly sunny and around 86 again.
