My husband and I were discussing the Paris climate agreement over coffee this morning. It’s another “deal” like NATO, where America would bear the brunt of it. India, China and Russia will continue building coal plants, while the U.S. contends with a rise in unemployment, and even more of an over-burdened tax system.

Did you know that the total pledged is $10.13 billion collectively, and the U.S. share is $3 billion? Almost a third! Trump is a businessman. Like him or not, he knows business. This is why many of us voted for him. So while Trump haters call his pulling out “shameful,” I call it smart! We cannot continue to support the world. Believe me, I’m not negating the need for green jobs and energy in an attempt to reduce our carbon footprint. BUT, like Obamacare should have been, it has to be well thought out and implemented one step at a time. “Globalism” is a large part of why our middle class is shrinking.

While I’m on a roll. … ISIS is easily the most dangerous terror network in existence. Iran is one thing; I don’t want to think about the scenarios conceivable if these lunatics get their hands on nuclear weapons. What matters is that they did not exist as an identifiable group prior to the Obama-Clinton era. A massive Muslim refugee crisis has overwhelmed Europe, and while most refugees, no doubt,  just want to get out of the killing zone, they have been infiltrated by ISIS loyalists, as recent mass shootings and bombings in Germany, England, France and elsewhere demonstrate: the consequences of Europe’s open-borders. This existential threat to civilization is likely to spread to the homeland of their blood enemy, US, what the Iranian imams call the Great Satan. We need to move … and move fast, to prevent this from happening. We should all pray that the Supreme Court agrees with Trump’s travel ban.
