Two arrested on break-in charges

SALISBURY — In the past several weeks, residents near West Ridge Road have reported numerous break-ins.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyson Leon Gaymon, 29, and Frankie O’Neil Sifford, 32, and charged them with the break-ins.
Gaymon is listed as living on Hawkinstown Road and Sifford on Evergreen Drive.
On Thursday, a break-in was reported at 3455 Hickory Place. The Sheriff’s Office responded to the call and found Gaymon and Sifford. After a brief foot chase, Gaymon and Sifford where captured.
Both were found with items stolen from the home. According to warrants, a Sony Playstation 4 and a lockbox were taken from the residence. The front door of the home was damaged in excess of $200.
According to warrants, a Glock model 23 firearm was stolen from a home on Garrick Road. A Glock 22 .40 caliber firearm and gold jewelry valued at $4,000 were taken from a home on Evergreen Drive. The door of the home was damaged in excess of $200. A resident of East Ridge Road reported that a Samsung flat-screen TV was taken and a door damaged.
Gaymon was charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny, one count of larceny of a firearm, one count of injury to personal property and three counts of injury to real property.
Sifford was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a building, two counts of felony larceny and three counts of injury to real property.
Gaymon has been previously charged in Rowan County with possessing stolen goods, obtaining a signature by false pretenses, and making harassing or threatening phone calls.
O’Neil has no record in Rowan County.
The two were placed in the Rowan County Detention Center, with bond for Gaymon set at $20,000 and bond for Sifford being set at $15,000.
