Summertime Again
How was it just Christmas and is now the 4th of July? Time seems to evaporate like water.
The tournaments I have to suggest to you will be here in no time, so add them to your calendars and make plans to go. There is one Regional in Columbia, S.C. from July 31-Aug. 6 and there are three sectionals in our area; Durham July 13-16 , Morganton Aug. 21-23, and Winston-Salem July 28-30. As always, the full details for these events are on the ACBL website.
Over the past few months some of our members have achieved progress toward their Life Masters. Patsy Reynolds has become a Club Master, Toni Iossi a Regional Master and Andra Cozart a Ruby Life Master. Congratulations all.
Our July 23 Evergreen game winners were: N/S A strat 1st Betsy Bare and Loyd Hill, 2nd Ruth Bowles and Marie Pugh, 3rd Shirley and Ron Jeffers and 1st in B strat Anna and Dave Goff; E/W 1st Pat Featherston and Dick Brisbin , 2nd Tom Johnson and Nancy Brandt, 3rd Beth Shafer and Toni Iossi.
