Seven advance to Faith Idol finals

FAITH — Three adults and four children moved on to the Faith Idol finals on Saturday after advancing out of the first round of competition.
Next, the adults and children will compete on the Fourth of July at 7 p.m. They will compete against one another based on the age categories 12 and under and 19 and above. Finalists will compete for cash prizes.
The adults — 19 and above — who advanced to the finals are as follows: Rusty Fisher of Faith, Rebecca Kulhawick of Rockwell and Ann Sprinkle of China Grove.
On Saturday, Fisher performed “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner.” Kulhawick performed “You Alone Can Save” and Sprinkle performed “Alabaster Box.”
The children ages 12 and under who advanced to the finals are as follows: Kayleb Carr, Kylie Creel, Gavin McDaniel and Victoria Parker.
Carr performed “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” Creel performed “Write Your Story.” McDaniel performed “Fire and Rain.” Parker performed “The Climb.”
