Russell Stevens received a Ph.D. in Business Management from Northcentral University at its annual commencement on July 9, 2017, following the successful defense of his dissertation on Aug. 24, 2016 last year. The dissertation was titled, “An examination of experiences of U.S. middle managers who used religion-based ethics in business decision-making”. Dr. Stevens earned membership in the Delta Mu Delta business honor society and the Beta Alpha Psi accounting honor society. He previously earned an MBA from Hope International University, Fullerton, Calif., and a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton, Calif. He currently teaches online for Hope International University and Geneva College, Beaver Falls, Pa., plus other schools as requested. He compiled a workbook “Biblical Perspectives on Money” to teach God’s principles of handling money in academic settings which is being used at multiple schools around the country. Russell lives with his wife, Katherine, in Salisbury.
