SALISBURY — The Salisbury Police Department was called to the same house in the 100 block of Circle Drive for a heroin overdose both Tuesday and Thursday.

Police were called between 4 and 5:10 p.m. Tuesday and between 2:30 and 2:35 p.m. Thursday.

Officer Travis Shulenburger, who responded to both calls, said that the prescription drug Narcan was administered both times and that the victim recovered in both cases.

No charges were filed. State law says a person who calls 911 seeking medical assistance for someone experiencing a drug-related overdose and who meets other requirements cannot be arrested.
