SALISBURY –Rescue crews have been at High Rock Lake for over two hours searching for a missing man who reportedly went under the water sometime around 4:45 p.m. Sunday. Dive teams have been searching and dragging the water. A witness said the person went under but did not resurface. One of the first divers went into the water around 5:40 p.m., according to emergency scanner traffic.

A command post was established at 5:01 p.m. near 1180 St. Matthews Church Road. More details to come.
