Help United Way kick off campaign
Your Rowan County United Way wants you!
Our 2008-2009 United Way Campaign Kick-off is scheduled for Friday evening, Sept. 5, in the F&M parking lot in the 200 block of North Main Street. Everyone is invited to join in the celebration, which is also being sponsored by Downtown Salisbury.
Activities begin at 6 p.m. and include beach music by the Fabulous Kays, a highly anticipated Soap Box Derby race on North Main Street, Classic Cars, Kiwanis Club food booth, car “bashing,” children’s games and many other activities. Please support your community and join us for this special event.
We are very proud that our Rowan County United Way is recognized as one of the best in the state. Our administrative and fundraising costs of only 7.9 percent rank our United Way among the very best. That means more of your dollars go to work right here in Rowan County.
