A boyfriend of a Salisbury woman faces multiple felony charges after holding her at knife point and threatening to burn her and two others, including a 4-year-old child.
Sgt. Kevin Wilborn said Salisbury Police responded to call around 12:30 Saturday morning from a woman at 729 Victory St., which is off Wilson Road in the vicinity of Salisbury High School.
The woman had called 911 to report she and another woman were being held at knife point.
By the time police arrived, the man, who was identified as a boyfriend of one of the women, had fled the scene, Wilborn said. Police were still searching for him Saturday.
The man had broken a back window, gained entrance to the apartment and poured gasoline in the bedroom, according to the police report.
A 4-year-old child was also in the apartment. Six officers responded to the scene, but no one was injured.
