Livingsone gave up six touchdowns in the first half and lost 45-10 at Savannah State on Saturday.
Two freshmen provided the points for the Blue Bears (0-2). Lakeem Graves of Reidsville managed just 13 yards rushing on four carries but scored the team’s only touchdown, a run of 2 yards. Dominic Piscitello kicked a 30-yard field goal. Both scores came in the third quarter, as Livingstone outscored Savannah State 10-3 in the second half.
Former West Rowan star Bryan Aycoth was 9-of-24 passing for 56 yards. Rashaad Flucker ran 11 times for 70 yards.
Kurvin Curry threw for 217 yards and accounted for four touchdowns for Savannah State (1-1).
Livingstone plays its first home game next week when Salisbury neighbor Catawba visits.
G-Webb 31, Tusculum 12
BOILING SPRINGS ó Patrick Hall and Phillip Peoples each rushed for two touchdowns to lead Gardner-Webb to a 31-12 victory over Tusculum.
Tusculum quarterback Corey Russell was 28-of-45 for 259 yards and an interception.

CLINTON, S.C. ó Tim Webb threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Presbyterian to a 38-28 victory over Fayetteville State on Saturday.Webb led the Blue Hose (1-1) on two fourth-quarter scoring drives as they rallied from a four-point deficit. Fayetteville State fell to 1-1.

Gray Stone Day swept a cross country meet with South Stanly and East Montgomery. Dalton Wally second), Patrick Sullivan (fourth), Mygel Bergstresser (fifth), Kaleb Medlin (sixth) and Michael Tedschi (seventh) led the Gray Stone boys. Hunter Latimer (first), Janna Featherstone (fifth), Mary Bergstresser (sixth), Raelynn Perry (eighth) and Megan Yost (10th) led the Gray Stone girls.

Kirsten Bartsch scored twice to lead Pfeiffer’s women to a 2-0 victory against UNC Pembroke on Friday. UNC Pembroke shut out Pfeiffer’s men 3-0.
n Catawba dropped a pair of one goal games in field hockey action on Friday at the Wesner Memorial Tournament at Kutztown’s University Field. The losses drop the Catawba Indians to 0-4.
