SALISBURY — A man exposed himself to a Salisbury hotel employee early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The incident occurred in the Hampton Inn parking lot about 1:20 a.m. when the employee was making rounds at the Klumac Road hotel. The man was driving an older model silver Honda Civic. He drove through the parking lot as she was walking the area and asked if there any rooms available.

The woman pointed the man toward the hotel lobby and told him to check inside with the hotel staff. The employee said the man appeared to be leaving the parking lot, but he circled around and exposed his genitals.

Salisbury police say he is a white man with short brown hair and believed to be in his early 20s with a thin build. The vehicle had a North Carolina license plate.

Police were working to obtain hotel surveillance video.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or CrimeStoppers at 866-639-5245.
