* Time: 7:30 p.m.
* Records: North Rowan 0-3; Forbush
* Series: North leads 1-0
* Last meeting: North rolled 34-0 in 2007 in Spencer
* Last week: North Rowan lost to East Rowan 15-6; Forbush was blown out 60-6 by Lexington
* Next week: North Rowan has its open week before the start of CCC play; Forbush is at North Lincoln
* Game notes: A rebuilding North Rowan squad wonít be favored all that often this season, but the Cavaliers have a great chance to get their first victory for coach Tasker Fleming tonight in East Bend against a Forbush team thatís been outscored 148-27 by West Iredell, Elkin and Lexington.
Forbush gave up 279 rushing yards ó in the first half ó to Lexington tailback Chris Bush last week.
The Falcons got their lone touchdown in a lopsided defeat when Devin Sparks hooked up with Brandon Mabe on a 79-yard pass play.
With an offensive line led by Josh Young, North has made a little progress offensively each week despite injuries to speed guys Lathan Charleston and Cameron Mallett. North got on the scoreboard for the first time last week when Alonzo Shropshire scored against East Rowan.
Shropshire knows where the end zone is. He also scored on a fumble return against Forbush last season, and the Cavaliers enjoyed their best rushing night of the 2007 campaign when they outrushed Forbush 218-121. Thatís got to make the offense optimistic going into tonightís game.
Northís defense hasnít been all that bad and actually has better yardage allowed numbers than Salisbury and South Rowan.
Javon Hargrave had a super game against East with three sacks, and heíll get a lot of help from linebacker Greg Melton.
