Right experience

The purpose of this letter is to offer my choice of Van Rowell for Kannapolis City Council. We have known Van and his family for years. They are community-oriented, can-do folks.

Kannapolis is in the process of a massive reinvention aimed at propelling us to a bright future. We need experienced public and private sector professionals to help in this massive undertaking.

Van has this experience — experience in corporate engineering at Fieldcrest Cannon for some 22 years plus invaluable experience as engineering director for the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County. He also understands small business from the perspective as an owner of coin operated laundries.

Van has been part of Kannapolis for some 25 years and fully grasps the challenge to be an active and progressive member of the Council.

Development and smart growth are the “future vision” of Kannapolis. Van gets it. Please vote on Nov 7th for Van Rowell for Kannapolis City Council.
