Men must be part  of the solution too

I agree with Cal Thomas in his article of Oct. 25, #MeToo. He wrote that his daughter and granddaughter, like most women, face unwanted sexual harassment. He concluded with “Perhaps the best way to address this is to put more women in charge (I agree)– —the right kind of women, like Crystal.”

I don’t know Crystal, so I can’t judge, but I do know women courageous enough to stand against harassment in the workplace. Many pay dearly for their resistance and few, if any, are promoted when they stand against injustice. Thomas remarks, “sexual harassment is only one of many consequences when “societal norms” are obliterated.”

I would add an additional conclusion. Perhaps the best way to stand against societal blurring of lines between right and wrong is to elect women and MEN of strong moral character who model decency and justice for all.
