SALISBURY — The Humane Society of Rowan County will hold its fall spaghetti lunch and dinner Friday at the Rhyne Building at Stallings Memorial Baptist Church, 817 S. Main St.

Dine-in or carry-out meals will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Music will be provided by Mel throughout lunch and dinner. 

Meals include spaghetti with meat or meatless sauce, garlic bread, salad, dessert and tea. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12.

Delivery of five or more meals to a workplace is available. Requests for deliveries must be made at 704-636-5700 or faxed to 704-633-5832 by 10 a.m. Friday. Orders should not be called to the church.

A raffle and silent auction will be held for donated items including pet care supplies and jewelry. Cat and dog food and cat litter will be accepted for the organization’s pet food bank.

The Spay It Forward Matching Funds Campaign is continuing through the upcoming holidays, a project made possible through the generosity of a friend and supporter of the Humane Society.  The organization will match donations up to and including $1,500 to its reduced-cost spay and neuter service for pet owners in need of financial assistance.

The Humane Society is a nonprofit, volunteer animal welfare organization not financially affiliated with any other organization or government agency. Funding is solely through fundraising projects and tax-deductible donations.
