Two Aldi stores in the Charlotte area will reopen at 8:10 a.m. Thursday after remodeling.

The Kannapolis store is at 600 S. Cannon Blvd.

The Harrisburg store is at 3891 Main St.

“The remodeled stores present a new look, offering a modern and convenient shopping experience. Customers will notice a focus on fresh items, including more robust produce, dairy and bakery sections and more room for customers’ favorite products,” said an Aldi news release.

According to the news release, the remodeled stores use environmentally friendly building products such as recycled materials, energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting.

Aldi staff said in a previous news release that the company hopes to remodel 31 Charlotte area stores by the end of 2018.
