Sofie Freeze
A daughter, Sofie Erin, was born to Theresa Davis and Bryan Freeze of Woodleaf on Sept. 29, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Grandparents are Ned and Marcella Freeze,and Joe and Mary Davis, all of Salisbury.Bryce Botts

Charles Branan
A son, Charles Trott, was born to Meg and Bart Branan, of Charleston, S.C., Oct. 6, 2008, at the East Cooper Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Goodman of Salisbury, Mr. C.B. Branan and Mrs. Margaret Mims Branan, both of Charleston, S.C. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Edward M. Murphy of Salisbury.
Kai McCabe
A daughter, Kai Shannon, was born to Lindsey and James McCabe on Oct. 19, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are Susan and Randy Follas of Salisbury and Jim and Lisa McCabe of Forty-Fort, Pa.
Addison Malnar
A daughter, Addison Rose, was born to Lauren Adele Malnar of Granite Quarry, Oct. 20, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 10.5 ounces. Andalyn Kerns
A daughter, Andalyn Makenzie, was born to Travis and Candace Lail Kerns of Winston-Salem on Oct. 15, 2008, at Forsyth Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 11.5 ounces. She has a sister, Jenica Isabel, 2. Grandparents are Tommy and Joan Kerns of Salisbury and Mick Lail and Susie Lail, both of Hickory.
Aiden Hammill
A son, Aiden River, was born to Rebecca and Josh Hammill of Rockwell on Aug. 6, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Grandparents are Rob and Nancy Ramsing of Salisbury, Beth Ramsing, Debbie and Keith Messick, all of Rockwell, and the late Larry Hammill. Great-grandparents are Frances West of Concord, Mary Ramsing of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Jean and George Kluttz of Rockwell and Joanne Hammill of Faith. Chloe Cress

Colben Morgan
