Deadline for posters is 5 p.m.
– Yard sale, 7 a.m. Saturday, Trinity Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Caldwell St.
– Fall barbecue, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Liberty United Methodist Church, intersection of Stokes Ferry and Liberty roads, featuring hickory-cooked pork and chicken barbecue sandwiches, plates, salads, by the pound and half or whole chickens. Takeouts available.
– Chicken and fish dinners will be sold for $7 beginning at noon Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Cuthbertson, 130 Fleming Road, off Hwy 801. Proceeds benefit Cedar Grove AME Zion Church.
