“Take this job and love it” will be the theme at this year’s Rowan County Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. Iwana Ridgill will be the speaker at the Nov. 13 event sponsored in part by AT&T at the Holiday Inn.
Events begin at 6 p.m., with a reception following Ridgill’s talk. Ridgill will offer a summary of causes, symptoms and “cures” for job burnout, with ways and strategies to influence attitude. Her practical suggestions and enthusiastic presentation provide relevant information and inspiration.
The Chamber Champion Small Business of the Year Award and the Paul E. Fisher Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented. The meeting is open to the public.
