Correction
– An article in Saturday’s paper on Steele Feed & Seed’s 80th anniversary celebration incorrectly identified Hall Steele as the only child of Margaret Hall and Robert Lee Steele.
Though Hall was their only son, he has three sisters: Mary Ida Mathis lives in Granite Quarry; Irene Weaver lives in Salisbury; and Frances Ballard lives in Mount Ulla.
