Congratulations on your new state-of-the-art ABC store. Terry Osborne predicted more revenue than the former store, more money for coffers and local education to keep youth alcohol and drug-free.

Oh, Mr. Osborne, you didn’t mention DUIs, innocent lives lost, broken homes, children going hungry and without needs met, and extra health care costs and murders and shootings in the Salisbury-Rowan area.

Is this something to be proud of, Mr. Osborne? In the words of Mayor Al Heggins, “Cheers.” Pathetic.
