    John Hart, bestselling author of The Hush, will visit Winston-Salem for this free event. Beer tastings will begin at 6 p.m., and Hart will speak at 6:30 p.m. Hart has written five previous novels, all five have been New York Times bestsellers and won multiple awards.

    Joseph Robinson’s new memoir, Long Winded, details his life growing up in a small town in Lenoir, North Carolina and his unlikely path to the Principal Oboe position at the New York Philharmonic. At Main Street Books, Joseph will perform a few short pieces, remark on the inspiration for his memoir, and sign copies of Long Winded.
