Regional finals

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The N.C. High School Athletic Association announced the locations and game times on Wednesday morning for the basketball regional championships.

Regional championships will be played on Saturday. Winners of the east will meet the winners of the west in the state championship games the following Saturday.

Eastern Regional Championships

Capel Arena, Fayetteville State University

Noon — 3A Boys – (3) Eastern Guilford vs. (1) Northside-Jacksonville

2 p.m. – 1A Girls – (10) Weldon vs. (1) Pamlico

4 p.m. – 1A Boys – (3) Pamlico vs. (1) Rocky Mount Prep

6 p.m. – 4A Girls – (3) Laney vs. (1) Southeast Raleigh

Minges Coliseum, East Carolina University

Noon – 2A Girls – (3) North Pitt vs. (1) Kinston

2 p.m. – 4A Boys – (4) South Central vs. (3) Heritage

4 p.m. – 3A Girls – (10) Havelock vs. (1) Jacksonville

6 p.m. – 2A Boys – (9) Greene Central vs. (2) Clinton

Western Regional Championships
