Yawn PatrolYawn Patrol Zone Toastmasters met Dec. 2 and 16 at United Cabarrus Insurance.Michael Craig was Toastmaster for Dec. 2 and the theme was “History of Toastmasters.” During this meeting, President Ann Boone-Carroll presented awards for 2008 to the members. June Pryor received Table Topics of the Year; Ken Miller Evaluator of the Year; Lisa Fowler Speaker of the Year; and Ken Carroll Toastmaster of the Year.
Tracy Threatt was the Toasmaster for Dec. 16 and the theme for the meeting was “Paulette’s Path.” Ken Miller was voted Best Speaker, Bianca Kelsey was voted Best Table Topics and Michael Craig was voted Best Evaluator. Yawn Patrol Zone Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters International and promotes communication and leadership skills through club meetings on the first and third Tuesday evenings, 7n8:30PM at United Cabarrus Insurance offices, 832 Arbor Street NE, Concord.
