SALISBURY — All registered Rowan County Democrats are invited to the Rowan Democratic Party Convention on March 24.

The convention will feature guest speaker Elaine Marshall, North Carolina secretary of state.

Party members will elect delegates to the district and state conventions and vote on resolutions.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. The meeting will start at 10 a.m. at the Rowan County Democratic Party Headquarters, 1504 W. Innes St.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
