TOWSON, Md. ó Chad Tomko scored six of his 25 points in double overtime to lift North Carolina-Wilmington to a 103-98 victory over Towson on Saturday night.
Johnny Wolf also scored six points in the second overtime as the Seahawks (5-16, 2-7 Colonial Athletic Association) ended a three-game losing streak by outscoring Towson (7-14, 2-7) 14-9.
Former West Rowan star Junior Hairston scored 25 points for Towson. He also had 15 rebounds.
Davidson 79, Wofford 56
DAVIDSON ó Stephen Curry scored 33 points, and Andrew Lovedale and Will Archambault had 12 points each for the Wildcats (16-3, 9-0), who extended their regular-season league winning streak to 39 games.
It was also Davidson’s 26th consecutive win at Belk Arena, its on-campus gym, with both streaks dating back to the 2006-2007 season. Both began after the Wildcats lost to Appalachian State 81-74 on Jan. 20, 2007.
Davidson has won back-to-back Southern Conference tournament titles ó two of five the team has won under head coach Bob McKillop ó and is well on its way to a third consecutive championship, and last year advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight.

BOONE ó Kellen Brand scored a career-high 31 points to lead Appalachian State to a 76-70 victory over Western Carolina.
Brand shot 10-for-13 from the field, including 5-for-7 from 3-point range, and went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Josh Hunter added 11 points for the Mountaineers (7-10, 4-5 Southern Conference), while Isaac Butts grabbed 11 rebounds.
Elon 86, Chattanooga 85, 2OT
ELON ó Ola Atoyebi scored 22 points, including the game-winning free throw with 42.6 seconds left in the second overtime, to lift Elon to an 86-85 win over Chattanooga.
Brett James scored 25 points and had 14 rebounds to lead Elon (5-11, 2-5 Southern Conference), which snapped a seven-game losing streak and ended Chattanooga’s winning streak at five.
ECU 80, SMU 74
DALLAS ó Darrius Morrow scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds for East Carolina, which beat Southern Methodist 80-74.
Brock Young scored 16 points and James Legan and Jamar Abrams had 14 apiece for the Pirates (10-8, 2-3 Conference USA). Sam Hinnant added 12 points.
Samford 76, UNC-G 61
GREENSBORO ó Bryan Friday scored 20 points and Josh Bedwell added 19 in Samford’s 1000th game as a Division I program, a 76-61 victory over North Carolina-Greensboro.
Ben Stywall had 19 points and a season-high 14 rebounds for UNC-Greensboro (3-14, 2-6). He recorded his league-leading seventh double-double this season.
N.C. A&T 73, WSSU 60
WINSTON SALEM ó Tavarus Alston scored 15 points to lead North Carolina A&T to a 73-60 win over Winston-Salem (4-13).
The Aggies (8-11) shot 50 percent from the field (30-for-60), and had five players score in double figures. Robert Johnson scored 12, Ed Jones and Nicholas Wilson scored 11 each, and Thomas Coleman scored 10.
VMI 92, High Point 85
LEXINGTON, Va. ó Chavis Holmes scored 27 points and Travis Holmes had 20 points to become the highest scoring twin brothers in NCAA Division I history in Virginia Military Institute’s 92-85 win over High Point.
The Holmes brothers have combined for 3,262 points, passing former VMI players Damon and Ramon Williams ó who finished with 3,252 career points in 1990.
South Carolina 82, Mississippi 71COLUMBIA, S.C. ó Devan Downey scored 22 points and South Carolina defeated Mississippi 82-71 on Saturday night.
The Gamecocks (14-4, 3-2 SEC), went on a 26-5 run against the Rebels that started with the last basket of the first half and carried over to the first eight minutes of the second.
UNC Asheville 68, Presbyterian 58
ASHEVILLEó John Williams and Reid Augst each scored 15 points to help UNC Asheville beat Presbyterian 68-58.
Williams added eight rebounds and five blocks for the Bulldogs (9-11, 5-4 Big South Conference). UNC Asheville shot 42.6 from the field (23-for-54), and 89.5 from the free-throw line.
