Online school open for enrollment
The North Carolina Connections Academy (NCCA), a tuition-free, virtual public school, announces open enrollment for the 2018-19 school year. The school, which began serving students across North Carolina in 2015, will open its doors to high school seniors for the first time this year, expanding to serve students with a full K-12 grade offering.
North Carolina Connections Academy provides students with a variety of courses, including electives, AP classes and career technical courses. The school also offers clubs for students interested in arts, science, sports, career prep and more. The school’s diverse student body includes competitive athletes with strict training schedules, previously homeschooled students looking for teacher support, and students seeking expanded course offerings, among others.
To help interested families learn more about the school, North Carolina Connections Academy is hosting online and in-person free information sessions.
