Ashley Nicole Cloer and Christopher Lee McDaniel of Salisbury are pleased to announce their engagement.

Nicole is the daughter of Debbie and Darrell Broadway of Salisbury and the granddaughter of Thelma Broadway and the late Harvey Broadway of Salisbury and the late Ruth and Jim Cloer of Salisbury. Nicole attended Carson High School in 2007 and graduated from Brittain Academy in 2008. She is currently employed at Angels at Heart Assisted Living in China Grove as the office manager.

Chris is the son of Sandra McDaniel of Augusta, Ga. and the grandson of the late Nellie and Hilton Faircloth of Augusta, Ga. A 1993 graduate of Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, he is currently employed at Spectrum Cable in Salisbury as the technical operations supervisor.

They will unite in marriage as one on Oct. 19, 2019.
