SOUTH BEND, Ind. ó Luke Harangody had 31 points and 11 rebounds for No. 13 Notre Dame in a 73-67 victory against No. 9 Georgetown on Monday that ended a five-game losing streak to the Hoyas.
Harangody, who had never scored more than 13 points in three games against Georgetown, scored Notre Dame’s final 13 of the first half to give his team an 11-point lead.
Notre Dame (11-3, 2-1 Big East) extended the nation’s longest home winning streak to 44 games, including 19 in the Big East, one shy of the record set by Pittsburgh in 2004.
Freshman Greg Monroe led Georgetown (10-3, 1-2) with 21 points and 10 boards.

NORMAN, Okla. ó Blake Griffin had 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead Oklahoma over Maryland Eastern Shore.
The Sooners (14-1) played without coach Jeff Capel, who was hospitalized earlier Monday with stomach flu. Assistant coach Mark Cline took over in his absence.
Miami 85, Florida Atlantic 69
CORAL GABLES, Fla. ó Dwayne Collins scored 24 points as Miami closed its non-conference schedule.
Collins scored 18 points in the second half, including 12 straight during a stretch that ended with a short jumper, to give Miami (11-3) a 75-60 lead.
Jack McClinton finished with 20 points and moved past Mike Wittman for 14th place on Miami’s career scoring list with 1,327 points.
Towson 62, Delaware 61
NEWARK, Del. ó Troy Franklin banked in a shot with 2.1 seconds left to lift Towson.
The Tigers (7-8, 2-1 CAA) outscored the Blue Hens 12-5 over the last 5:12.
West Rowan alum Junior Hairston, who didn’t start and was questionable to play because of illness, scored a team-high 17 points for the Tigers.
Navy 66, Elon 62
ELON ó Adam Teague, a former Fred T. Foard star who faced East Rowan during a 2005 regional semifinal, scored four of his 11 points during an 8-0 run in the game’s final 1:33 to lead Navy.
After Devan Carter’s layup put Elon ahead 62-58 with just under two minutes to play, Teague nailed a 3-pointer to start Navy’s run, hit a free throw with 14 seconds left to cap it and grabbed a rebound off late Carter’s 3-point miss.
Ola Atoyebi and Chris Long scored 14 points each to lead Elon (4-6). Brett James had 11.

VCU 88, UNC Wilmington 59RICHMOND, Va. ó Joey Rodriguez had 18 of his 25 points in the first half for Virginia Commonwealth (9-5, 2-1). UNCW (3-12, 0-3) extended its school-record losing streak to nine games. It was led by Kevon Moore’s 17 points.

COLUMBIA, S.C. ó Devan Downey scored 17 points to lead South Carolina (11-2), and junior Zam Fredrick reached 1,000 points in his career.PC 67, Liberty 66 (2OT)
CLINTON, S.C. ó Pierre Miller hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 28 seconds remaining.
Seth Curry finished with 15 points for Liberty.

DURHAM ó Chante Black had 15 points and Shay Selby added a career-high 14 to lead Duke to its 10th straight win.
