BOSTON ó Boston College coach Al Skinner had been warning his players all along. It showed they didn’t listen.
Jeremy Lin scored 27 points to lead Harvard to an 82-70 upset over No. 17 Boston College on Wednesday night, three days after the Eagles upset previously top-ranked North Carolina.
“I tried to pre-warn them,” said Skinner after one of the Eagles’ more disappointing regular season losses in many years. “We were capable of being this team and capable of being another team.”
The Eagles (13-3), who had their 10-game winning streak snapped, was beaten by a team coached by former ACC star Tommy amaker of Duke.
Corey Raji paced BC with 16 points, Tyrese Rice had 14, Joe Trapani had 12. Rice was held to three points until the final four minutes.
Oliver McNally had 17 points and Andrew Pusar 13 for the Crimson (8-6), who had never beaten a ranked team before and had lost 15 of their last 16 games against the Eagles.

It was the sixth straight victory for Syracuse (15-1, 3-0 Big East) and the third consecutive loss for DePaul (8-8, 0-3).

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ó Matt Bouldin tied a career high with 26 points to help Gonzaga upset No. 15 Tennessee 89-79 in overtime.
It was all Gonzaga (9-4) in the extra period, as Austin Daye hit a 3-pointer and four free throws to help the Zags grab their second win over the Vols this season.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.ó Manny Harris, DeShawn Sims and Laval Lucas-Perry led Michigan back from a 20-point second-half deficit to force overtime, then took advantage of the weary Indiana Hoosiers to pull off an improbable 72-66 victory.
Lucas-Perry finished with 18 points, Harris, the Big Ten’s top scorer, added 17 and Sims had 14 for the Wolverines (12-3, 2-1).
Indiana (5-9, 0-2) was led by Devan Dumes with 17.
