Doug and Carolyn Glasgow of Salisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Louise Glasgow, to Peter Joseph Attayek, both of Durham.

Anna is the granddaughter of the late Doug and Louise Glasgow and the late Ted and Mary Jane Nodell, all of Charlotte. A graduate of Salisbury High School, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and East Carolina University, with a Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Science), she is a science teacher at McDougle Middle School in Chapel Hill.

Pete is the son of Joe and Evelyn Attayek of Greensboro and the grandson of Margaret  Attayek  and the late Joseph Attayek Sr.,  Etta Lou Loftin and the late George   Loftin. A graduate of Western Guilford High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering, he is a research associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The wedding is scheduled for mid-June in the North Carolina mountains.
