Eugene Green, the driver injured in a high-speed chase on March 22, was charged Friday after his discharge from the hospital.

Green led police from Sunset Drive onto Jake Alexander Boulevard before crashing into the retaining wall just across from Knox Middle School on West Park Drive.
Police estimate the car was going 80 mph when Green lost control.
Green’s leg was broken, and he was taken to the hospital. The two other suspects fled.
Green was charged with misdemeanor buying or receiving stolen property; misdemeanor hit and run with property damage; felony receiving stolen vehicles; felony fleeing to elude arrest with motor vehicle; felony breaking and entering into vehicles; misdemeanor larceny; and injuring or tampering with a vehicle.
He is being held on a $20,000 bond.
