GOLD HILL — Saturday, April 7, from 3-8 p.m.
The kick-off to the year-long celebration of Rowan Arts & Ag is a craft beer festival in Historic Gold Hill Village & Park, at 735 St. Stephens Church Road.
Local artisans and vendors will be on hand with hand-crafted items for sale, on two stages bands will be performing and there will be food trucks, kids’ fun and strolling entertainers.
In honor of NC Beer Month, Rowan’s breweries New Sarum and Morgan Ridge Railwalk will be on site, along with area wineries.

In between performances on the main stage, stroll on over to Gold Hill Village Stage located behind Bakery, Baskets & Gifts. The Trailblazers (3-4 p.m.) , Coddle Creek and Lonesome Creek will be performing on the Village Stage.
This is a free event and open to the public.
