My husband and I have had the pleasure of knowing and working  with Frank and Diane Goodnight for many years.

With Frank’s untimely passing this past week, we wholeheartedly agree with Mark Wineka’s article (“Business, civic leader Frank Goodnight dies,” April 7) that he will be greatly missed in our community.

Frank was not only a good man, but he also cared deeply for Salisbury and Rowan County, and he worked tirelessly to make our community and state a better place for all citizens.

Frank was a talented businessman, a true civil leader, a friend to many, and he will surely be missed by all.
