NBA Roundup: House leads surging Celtics

BOSTON ó Eddie House scored 28 points on a career-high eight 3-pointers, and Rajon Rondo had 24 points and nine assists Wednesday night to lead the Boston Celtics to their ninth win in row, 119-100 over the Sacramento Kings.
It was the seventh straight loss for Sacramento, which opened a 10-point lead in the first quarter before Boston scored the next six points. The Celtics went on a 25-9 run to start the second quarter and turn a two-point deficit into a 14-point lead.
The Celtics led by 24 in the fourth, when House was 4-for-5 from 3-point range.
John Salmons scored 22 points, and Jason Thompson had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Kings, who lost to Boston by 45 earlier this season.
Heat 93, Wizards 71
MIAMI ó Dwyane Wade had 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists before sitting out the entire fourth quarter for Miami.
Daequan Cook and Michael Beasley each had a team-high 16 points for the Heat, who’ve won three straight, all over Southeast Division rivals.
Antawn Jamison had 21 points and 12 rebounds for Washington, an NBA-worst 9-36.

NEW YORK ó Nate Robinson scored 20 of his 24 points in the final 10 minutes, including a personal 8-0 run to put New York up 96-85 with just over 6 minutes left.
David Lee had 17 points and 16 rebounds, and Chris Duhon finished with 16 points and 11 assists. Marvin Williams had 28 points for Atlanta.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) ó Jose Calderon had 17 points and 11 assists to help Toronto win three straight for the first time since the start of the season.
Devin Harris had a chance to steal the game for the Nets, but his step-back jumper from the right edge of the foul line hit off the rim at the buzzer.
Anthony Parker added 21 points for Toronto. Vince Carter led New Jersey with 27.
Hornets 94, Nuggets 81
NEW ORLEANS ó Peja Stojakovic matched a season high with 26 points for New Orleans, and Devin Brown added a season-high 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting.
Chris Paul had 12 points and 10 assists. Kenyon Martin scored 22 points, and J.R. Smith had 20 for Denver.
76ers 95, Rockets 93
HOUSTON ó Andre Iguodala hit a baseline jumper with 36 seconds left and finished with 20 points to help Philadelphia overcome a late 14-point deficit.
Andre Miller added 16 points and seven assists, and Louis Williams had 17 points for the 76ers, 9-2 in their last 11.

OKLAHOMA CITY ó Kevin Durant scored 35 points, Jeff Green added 23 on a career-high five 3-pointers and Oklahoma City recovered in overtime after blowing a 10-point lead late in regulation.

MINNEAPOLIS ó Rasheed Wallace tied a season high with 25 points and had 10 rebounds, and Allen Iverson added 19 points for Detroit.

INDIANAPOLIS ó T.J. Ford matched his career high with 34 points, and Indiana held off Milwaukee for its third victory in four games.
