Letter: In great hands with Dr. Crawford

As in many communities in our nation, Rowan County has been blessed with the dedication of many fine medical professionals. Dr. John Robert Crawford III was one such physician.
With the passing of Dr. Crawford, I am reminded of the debt of gratitude that I owe him for the 40 years of great care that he provided to my family and myself. All State Insurance may brag that “you’re in good hands” with them, but with Dr. Crawford I knew I was in great hands.
Several times I told him how grateful I was for his help, yet I feel that I owe him more. So I publicly acknowledge this fine physician. Thank you, Dr. Crawford. Enjoy your well-deserved eternal happiness.
